BEHIND THE SCENES OF OUR SPRING SUMMER 2019 PHOTOSHOOT

Behind the scenes of our Spring Summer 2019 Photoshoot

We wanted to share the details of our Spring Summer 2019 photoshoot that took place on the Isle of Arran, a small island off the West Coast of Scotland. Scotland’s natural beauty and our surroundings have always inspired us a brand when it comes to designing our collections, which is why we like to shoot in locations close to us. This does become testing at times with the ever-changing Scottish weather… even in May. With shots like these, it makes it all worth it.

Our creative director Lorraine describes the Isle of Arran - "Often referred to as Scotland in Miniature, we decided to take a journey on the fabulous Calmac Ferry to the unspoilt shores of Arran to shoot SS19 with Josh Hight for Begg x Co. Wild Scotland didn’t disappoint, we toured the island, battled rain, wind, sporadic sunshine and saw seals, wild deer, wild flowers and the warm hospitality of the local people. Thanks for having us Arran.. A special place and great memories."

‘The Road to Nowhere’ stretching from Brodick to Blackwaterfoot, Arran.

Despite conditions, we shot some really beautiful stills and video footage of our journey. Model Leila said "My first time in Scotland couldn’t be better, it was a lot of fun to get to know the place while working with a lovely team. Even the weather at the first day and long car journeys made the moments like the sun coming out, arriving at the wonderful beaches and long roads across the island even more special and all part of the journey."
