Begg & Co SS20 Collection – Inspired by & captured on the West Coast of Scotland

We are proud to introduce the third drop of our SS20 collection, The Garden. Captured on the West Coast of Scotland by Robbie Lawrence and styled by Sam Logan.

We know that cashmere absorbs dye like no other yarn, and so this season, our inspiration was drawn from the complexity of colour and how we view it. Our designers explored both texture and colour through innovative weaving techniques, showcasing optical and abstract prints, plain pastels, supersized checks and nautical blues.

Introducing The Garden

Today we launch The Garden collection, captured in and around the beautiful 18th century mansion house Ardgowan Estate, that’s situated on the Firth of Clyde and was warmly opened to us by Ludo Shaw Stewart, whose family has owned the estate for over 200 years. Encounters with Robert the Bruce, Napoleon and Florence Nightingale are woven into the Estate’s colourful history.

As our collection for SS20 exudes colour and design, the gardens of Ludo’s estate felt like the perfect place to capture this, with the multitude of colourful flowers and woodland that surround it.

We are spending more time than ever in our homes and our gardens during this uncertain time and wanted to share this collection in appreciation of our surroundings such as our gardens, that are always there for us, and often taken for granted. Find solace with nature and escape to your garden with cashmere this Spring.
